Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, EROS Data Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota has a requirement to Construct a gravel access road surface approximately 1100 feet in length, 12 feet wide. Excavate and smooth as necessary to prepare the new roadbed. A turnaround will be constructed where the road terminates. Packing will be a critical item of performance to ensure a stable bed. Length specified is an estimate only, vendor to perform site visit to confirm measurements. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit has been scheduled for March 30, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. Quotes shall be due April 12, 2001.
