Description

Red River Army Depot intends to issue a solicitation resulting in a requirements type contract for strip stock rubber in support of its roadwheel rebuild program. Contract period will be 12 months. Size and estimated quantity is 264000X970149 2 3/4" X 15/32"- 600,000 lbs. The compound formulation will be provided after receipt of a signed nondisclosure statement. Material must conform to MIL-DTL-45301E, Class 5, Group A with adjustments listed in the solicitation. Samples for first article testing are required for firms who have not previously provided this product to this Depot. Firms interested in receiving this solicitation may download it from our website at www.redriver.army.mil/contractingframes/TACOMrrad.htm under the Solicitations tab. The solicitation will be available on the issue date of 26 March 2001. The nondisclosure statement will be posted to the web immediately for firms wanting to print and fax in their signed forms.
