Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the simplified acquisition procedures in FAR part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 6TSA-01-JMT-0109 is being issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. This procurement is for the following: CLIN 1:Smith Myers, digital Cellular Tracking Equipment, CSM 7806, QTY. 4; CLIN 2: Datong DF1010C with 1900 Mhz option, QTY.4; CLIN 3: Three (3) day training class on the above equipment to be conducted in Washington, DC FOR 10 individuals, QTY.3 days. This procurement is for the Department of Treasury, US Secret Service in Washington DC. A Brand Name Justification has been executed and no substitutions will be allowed. Please include all requirements on quotations. No partial quotes. Indicate FOB destination on quote (shipping included in price). The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation is based on best value including past performance, cost and ability to meet service requirements. Please include any instances of similar procurements for government agencies in the last three (3) years. Vendor must be able to travel & provide training at customer site in Washington DC. Service requirements are for availability twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Equipment must be able to be controlled by a laptop, must be upgradable, must be modular & have it's own internal battery backup. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition to the guidance contained in FAR 52.212-4, contractors shall submit proof of delivery with their invoices. Proof of delivery may be in the form of a bill of lading or other shipping document signed by the receiving office. Invoices received without proof of delivery will not be accepted. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
