Description

UNICOR, FPI intends enter into a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for Nonwoven Fabric for Mattress Covers. The period of performance shall be for one (1) base year with two (2) option years if exercised. Line Item 0001 -- FAB0018, Line Item 0002 -- FAB0022, and Line Item 0003 -- FAB0046, Fabric Nonwoven, Spun bonded polypropylene or typar, manufactured in accordance with Federal Specification V-M-96K, Dated 2-15-90, Para 3.37.2 interim amendment 1 dated 5-24-90, weight: 1-1/2 to 3 oz. Per square yard. Color: Grey. The estimated quantity for the Base and each Option Year if exercised is 450,000 Yards for line item 0001, 150,000 Yards for Line item 0002, and 50,000 Yards for Line Item 0003. Delivery is FOB Destination USP Atlanta, GA. Delivery acceptance is 30 days after receipt of each delivery order. This requirement is domestic only, and is all or none. The award will be based on the Best Value to the Government. The Evaluation Factors are: Price, Past Performance, and Specifications. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about March 21, 2001. Please do not access UNICOR's website for this solicitation until March 21, 2001 as it will not be available for download until that date. All interested parties shall retrieve a copy of the solicitation from UNICOR's website at www.unicor.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. All questions relative to this requirement shall be put in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer.
