Description

The Corps of Engineers has a need for a service contract for providing Floating Plant for support of Pittsburgh District investigations on the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio Rivers in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The plant may be used by Government personnel, contract drilling crews, or Architect-Engineer personnel under contract to the Government. It will be used for core drilling on Government structures including dams; navigable rivers; streambank surveillance; sediment sampling, clam sampling, lifting and/or hauling of equipment, material and supplies; driving test piles and miscellaneous other support work required within the Pittsburgh District. The contract will be for a base period and 4 one year option periods. Specifications will be available approximately 04/02/01 at no charge; This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business.
