Description

WY PRA-YELL 13(8), SYLVAN PASS ROCK HAUL PHASE 2, Yellowstone National Park, Park County, Wyoming. Initial Notice posted to CBDNet on February 23, 2001, (Printed CBDNet). BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS (FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION). Presolicitation Notices are being sent to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently with the publication of this synopsis. This project consists of excavating, hauling, and stockpiling rock. Project includes: construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; 5,000 cu m watering for dust control; 125,000 t stockpiled rock; 1,600 flagger hrs; and other smaller items of work. Project is approximately 110 km west of Cody, Wyoming. Work shall be completed by November 5, 2001. Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at prime rate.
