Description

The project consists of hauling, placing, and compacting approximately 2000 cubic meters of Government-furnished crushed aggregate on Forest Development Road 6254. The project site is located on Mitkof Island, Southeast Alaska approximately 48 kilometers south of Petersburg, Alaska. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Simplified acquisition procedures apply to this acquisition. The solicitation will be posted for viewing and printing to the Tongass National Forest homepage at http://www.fs.fed.us/r10/tongass on or about March 26, 2001. Alternatively, a paper copy of the solicitation may be requested via FAX at 907.228.6254. FAX requests should reference solicitation no. KTN-01-14.
