Description

The U.S. Small Business Administration issued a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This MOU permits agencies ordering from 8(a) contractors to count those orders toward their small business program procurement goals as awards made pursuant of the section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. Current Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contractors who are determined by SBA to be 8(a) eligible may elect to modify their contracts to be designated as 8(a) program participants and be listed on the Schedules E-Library and GSA Advantage. If you are 8(a) eligible and wish to modify your MAS contract to reflect this status, please notify the Office Equipment Division for MAS Schedules, 36, 67, and 74 by fax at 703-305-5388.
