Description

A solicitation will be issued for Lining, Helmet, Shock Absorbing Liner Kit, TPL (85D7087), HGU-55/P as an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) with the following quantities: 7,700 Kt MIN; 10,000 Kt MAX with one (1) Mandatory Term Option for 3,600 Kt MIN and 6,000 Kt MAX. Military Specifications are not available. NSN: 8475-01-210-8508(s) and Drawing numbers 85D7087-1 (Medium), 85D7087-2 (Large) or 85D-7087-3 (X-Large) are applicable. There are First Article requirements in this procurement. Six (6) deliveries are required beginning 120 days after date of award and every thirty days thereafter. All materials are to be contractor furnished. See numbered notes 9, 13 and 26. This solicitation will be issued on an Unrestricted basis to approved sources. The destinations for the subject item are Defense Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. The award will be based on the Low Price -- Technically Acceptable proposal.
