- Description
- It is the intent of the Government to acquire sole from Missile Systems & Technologies (MST), Inc. the following services in support of the University Guidance and Control (G&C) Program: Develop an approach, including recommended performance characterizations and metrics, for testing and validating the University G&C algorithms baseline capability. Assess, identify and install the required simulations in the G&C test-bed. Provide the error models for use in the simulation and develop and modify unique contractor supplied algorithms to aid the Universities in their development work. The contractor-supplied algorithms will include: non-linear autopilot (NLAP) design algorithms, adaptive radome compensation estimation algorithms for both rolling and non-rolling airframes, detailed technical support for these supplied algorithms. Attend and participate in the G&C program meetings and activities. Upon completion of these tasks, MST will deliver G&C error models to be incorporated into the simulation, test-bed configuration and contractor supplied algorithms, oral status reports, as required, and a final report. MST is considered the sole source provider of these services based upon their experience, skills, and specific knowledge of the technical issues and their proprietary guidance and control software. Responses to this synopsis of intent must be received NLT 27 March 2001. Point of contact is Ms. Patricia James, Procurement Technician, ATTN: SMDC-CM-A, (256)955-4167. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency.
