Description

The Army Atlanta Contracting Center, Fort McPherson, Georgia, is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Dining Facility Attendants/Troop Issue Subsistence Activity Services for the National Training Center (NTC) and Fort Irwin, CA. Services will be for a base period of one year with four one-year options. The base period includes a 30-day phase in period. Contractor shall provide all resources, personnel and management necessary to perform food service support. The main functional areas included in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are: 1. Dining Facility Attendants, 2. Troop issue subsistence Activity. Under the first functional area the contractor shall provide sufficient personnel to perform all required tasks as stated in order to preclude delays in food preparation and serving activities in conjunction with the Performance Work Statement for Government operated dining facilities in support of authorized installation customers. Under the second functional area the contractor shall operate the National Training Center Troop Issue Subsistence Activity (TISA) in support of authorized installation, Army War Reserve Prepositioned Sets (AWRPS) Rotational Units and augmentee customers. The contractor shall operate the TISA Stock Control and the TISA Warehouse. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 28, 2001, with proposals due on or about 30 April 2001. Solicitations and any subsequent amendments will be issued through the Internet. No hard paper copies will be provided. The solicitation shall be issued as a RFP utilizing Best Value Procedures. Any resulting contract shall be firm-fixed price.
