Description

The work required is for Removal of a Sunken Barge in the Mississippi River. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment for removing and disposing of a sunken barge located in the Mississippi River at approximately Mile 865.2 AHP LMR at station 132+00 along the Little Cypress Bend Revetment approximately 75 feet from the descending right bank, Pemiscot County, Missouri. The work includes removal and disposal of the barge wreckage and any contents that may exist within the entire barge; performing all cleanup operations including existing articulate concrete mattress (ACM) revetment protection covering the barge; and performing post-removal surveys. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This is an unrestricted procurement. For the purpose of this procurement, to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not being dominant in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual receipts for the preceeding three fiscal years not exceeding $27.5 million.
