Description
New and valuable class to be held Thursday, March 22, 2001 from 6:30p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at George Mason University's Procurement Technical Assistance Program, 4031 University Drive, Suite 200, Fairfax, VA 22030. The class will be presented by Ira Hoffman,Esquire Grayson and Kubli, P.C. and Dave Cotton, Cotton and Company. This seminar will cover key issues concerning winning and performing Government contracts, including potential legal pitfalls and how to avoid them. Topics covered will include: Essential contract compliance matters; What's important when considering a bid protest; Reacting to convenience and default terminations; How the contract appeal process works; The functioning of the Federal Court of Claims and the GAO "top 10" legal mistakes that contractors make.
