Description

The work involves placing new poles next to existing poles, or spot setting, installing new cross arms, and insulators, or placing conductiors on spacer cable bracket. The contractor shall transfer existing power conductors to the new cross arm insulators. The contractor shall install both down guys, storm guys and storm guy poles. The installing of new fused cut outs, lightning arrestors, ground rods and ground wires. The contrtactor shall move three-phase transformer banks and transfer all existing communication and signal carrying cables to new poles that have been replaced by new poles. Distribution voltage is 8.32 KV phase to phase and 4.8 KV to ground. Pole height shall be 40 feet, unless stated otherwise. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price type contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. The estimated price for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Bid security is required.
