Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award modifications to the agreements (Other Transactions) awarded as a result of competition to three contractors for the development of power control modules for the Integrated Fight Through Power System (formerly Integrated Power System). The modifications will add an engineering services item for such special studies as arise relating to the modules under development. This system has been developed under work by six contractors, with down-select to three for detailed design. The engineering services are being awarded on a sole source basis to each contractor as the sole contractor knowledgeable of the design it has developed. See numbered Note 22.
