Description

The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory has a requirement for Forty-eight (48), 2U/512MB Node consisting of: Supermicro 370DLE Motherboard, two(2) 933MHZ Intel Pentium III CPU, two (2) 256MB PC133 registered ECC SDRAM DIMMS, two (2) Netgear NICS ( FA310TX), Hard Drive 15GB, PCI Video Card, Floppy Drive, 2U Rackmount Case (no more than 21" deep). Eight (8), 4U/512MB Node consisting of: Supermicro 370DLE Motherboard, two (2) 933MHZ Intel Pentium III CPU, two (2) 256MB PC133 Register ECC SDRAM DIMMS, two (2) Netgear NICS ( FA310TX), Hard Drive 15GB, PCI Video Card, Floppy Drive, 4U Rackmount Case (no more than 21" deep). Eight (8), 2U/0MB Node consisting of: Supermicro 370DLE Motherboard, two (2) 933MHZ Intel Pentium III CPU, two (2) Netgear NICS ( FA310TX), Hard Drive 15GB, PCI Video Card, Floppy Drive, 2U Rackmount Case (not more than 21" deep), all units must come assembled, price must include shipping and a 3-year warranty. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ S0100268). This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3571 . This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. All responsible sources who can provide and meet the above requirements may submit written quotations clearly marked with RFQ # S0100268 by mail or fax (304-285-4683) to Peter Schuster, P.O. Box 880, MS 107, Morgantown, WV 26507-0880. Evaluation/award will be based on the technically acceptable quotation that offers the best value to the government. All offerers are hereby notified that if your proposal is not received by the date/time and at the location specified in this announcement, that it will be considered late/nonresponsive. Note 1 applies.
