Description
The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) announces the release of "New and Innovative Ideas in Battle Lab Operations BAA" seeking new ideas and advanced and innovative concepts derived from current and emerging principles in the following technology areas: (1) Modeling and Simulation Technologies, (2) Simulation Techniques, Innovative Simulation Environments, (3) Simulation and Modeling for Acquisition, Requirements and Training Applications, (4) High Level Architecture (HLA) Applications, (5) Innovative Investment Strategies, Independent Validation Verification and Accreditation (IVV&A),(6) Battle management, command control, communications and computer technologies/ intelligence, (7) Advanced Mobile Platforms, Distributive Collaborative Planning, Data Fusion/ Correlation,.(8) Other Advanced Tactical Operation Command (TOC) BM/C4I Technologies,.(9) Space & Missile Defense exercise/experiment concepts,. (10) Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP), (11) Integration of Family of Systems, Army and Joint environments, (12) Operational Technology Transfer: Space, NMD, ATMD/ Army/Joint, (13) Transformation Force, (14) Warfighter Applications of Innovative Technologies, (15) Analysis, Innovative Analyses ideas on any of the SMDC Battle Lab Technical areas, (16) Innovative Analysis, innovative ways to show the operational utility of Missile Defense Exercise/Experiment Concepts,. (17) Performance improvement criteria, (18) Performance Improvement Criteria as applied to any of the technologies above, (19) Automated Business Practices. The topics "Innovative Simulation Environments" and "Independent Validation Verification and Accreditation (IVV&A) as stated in this BAA is set aside for small business and Historically Black Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 54171, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This BAA is not open to allied participation at the prime or subcontractor level. A current SECRET facility and storage capability will be required for award of any contractual instrument as a result of this BAA.
