Description

FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire = Comprehensive=20 Dental Services and associated=20 support services for eligible active duty personnel located at Buckley = AFB,=20 CO. The contractor will be required to=20 perform dental services such as preventive procedures, general = dentistry=20 procedures to include oral and maxillofacial=20 surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics which meet Air = Force=20 requirements. The contractor shall=20 have board eligible/board certified dental specialists available to = perform=20 services in these specialties. The=20 contractor will be required to provide all required labor, dental = laboratory=20 support, facilities, facility maintenance,=20 clinical and support equipment, supplies, dental specialty = consultations,=20 reports, and transcription and management=20 of dental records as required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS). = A firm=20 fixed price contract is anticipated=20 with a base period of performance commencing on 01 October 2001 and = ending on=20 30 September 2002. The contract=20 will also provide for four (4) one-year option provisions. The Request = for=20 Proposal (RFP) may require the=20 submission of technical, past performance and cost/price proposals. In = addition, at least part of technical proposal=20 may need to be presented to the Government via an Oral Presentation. = The=20 applicable North American Industry=20 Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 621210; size = standard $5M. All responsible sources may=20 download a copy of the RFP and may submit a proposal which will be = considered=20 by the Government. The=20 solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release at=20 www.neco.navy.mil. Paper copies, faxed copies,=20 or email copies of the solicitation will not be provided.
