Description

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is hosting an Industry Day from 10:00AM until noon on Tuesday April 3, 2001 at the General Services Administration Region 3 Building, 7th and D Streets S.W.,. Washington DC. HUD is in the initial stages of conducting a competition to enter into a long-term contract and partnership (up to 10 years) for the delivery of a wide range of Information Technology outsourcing services to support the Department_s information processing, telecommunications and other related requirements. This Industry Day will provide interested firms with an overview of the HUD Information Technology Service (HITS) program, acquisition strategy, and the Department_s associated information technology outsourcing requirements. At the conclusion of the Government_s presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to ask general questions of the Government. This invitation to participate in the Industry Day does not constitute an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. Participation in the Industry Day conference is voluntary. The information presented herein or provided in response to Industry Day will not obligate the Government in any manner. The Government will not reimburse the attendees for any cost associated with participation or for responding to the Industry Day, and is under no obligation to award any related contract associated with this event. Seating at the Industry day briefing is limited. Participants will be limited to a maximum of two (2) representatives per corporation. (Participants should allow time to clear and enter the building at the guard_s station in the GSA Region 3 lobby). A separate notice shall be posted providing a URL site for registration to attend Industry Day. All attendees must pre-register.
