Description

The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to negotiate and award a noncompetitive contract to Dale Plumbing/Heating under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for the repair, renovation and improvement to the DDC/Hydronic heating system and its control system. This project includes the repair and replacement of VAV boxes, boilers, heated slabs, thermostats, expansion tanks, feedwater systems, and the corresponding digital controls for these systems. This requirement fits into the overall program by providing comfortable conditions and energy conservation techniques in the IHS facilities. SIEBE digital control systems are now used in these facilities and are provided by manufacturer's representatives for designated areas. Dale Plumbing and Heating is the only vendor for this control system in the northeast Montana area. This aquisition is an entity in itself. The location of this project is at the Fort Peck Health Center, Poplar, Montana.
