Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to negotiate with Data Sciences, International, 4211 Lexington Ave. North, Suite 2244, St Paul, MN 55126 for a DSI Telemetry Monitoring System. This proposed contract action is for monitoring blood pressure, pulse and EEG's in unrestrained rats and mice. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provision and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service Internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than March 29, 2001 by Close of Business local time to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered Note 22.
