Description

UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type Contract for Thread. The period of performance shall be One (1) Base Year with Two (2) Options Years, if exercised. A total of 13 line items. Various sizes of threads. Delivery is FOB Destination to (5) locations: USP Atlanta, GA, FCI Beaumont, TX, FCI Greenville, IL, FCI Manchester, KY, and FCI Seagoville, TX. Delivery acceptance is 30 days After Receipt of Order. The total maximum quantity of all line items is: 1,915,466,000.00. A combination of any line items will be guaranteed per year with a minimum guaranteed quantity of 750,000,000 yards per year. This requirement is Domestic only and All or None. The award will be based on the Best Value to the Government. The Evaluation Factors are Past Performance, Specifications and Price. Past Performance and Specifications when combined are significantly more information than cost or price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about 03/30/01.
