Description
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting proposals under a 100% small business set aside (NAICS 541380 -- $5 million) from qualified small businesses having the capability to serve as a pharmacokinetic resource in support of the pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) aspects of medications development. The successful offeror shall prepare case report forms, provide data management and processing for clinical studies, monitor clinical studies to assure that pertinent FDA regulations are met, conduct PK, PD, and statistical analyses, and prepare study protocols and reports. No actual clinical or laboratory studies will be carried out under this contract. The data/reports will be submitted to the FDA in support of INDs (Investigational New Drugs) and NDAs (New Drug Applications). It is estimated that a three-year incrementally funded, level of effort type contract will result from this procurement. The project will include options for two additional years, as well as quantity options. RFP No. N01DA-1-8817 will be available electronically on or about April 13, 2001, and may be accessed through the NIDA website at the following address: (URL: http://www.nida.nih.gov/RFP/RFPList.html ) Please note that the RFP for this acquisition will be streamlined to include only the Work Statement, Deliverables and Reporting Requirements, Special Requirements and Mandatory Qualifications, Technical Evaluation Criteria, and other necessary Proposal Preparation Instructions. All information required for the submission of an offer will be contained in or accessible through the electronic RFP package. Response to the RFP will be due on or about May 28, 2001. Any responsible offeror may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a contract. See Notes 1 and 26.
