Description

The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Johnson Controls Inc., 1255 N Senate Ave., Indianapolis IN 46202 to furnish all labor, materials, supplies and equipment to perform Design and Programming functions to an existing Metasys System for the control of the Central Cooling Plant. The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes but responses received on or before April 2, 2001 will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to complete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information must be submitted to the Richard L.
