Description

The United States Government intends to issue a solicitation with the intent of awarding a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to support the AN/SLQ-32(V) Countermeasure System. The BOA will consist of several line items for Depot Support Services, SRA/SRU Repairs, Component Parts, Failure Analysis, System Improvement/Modifications, Engineering Drawings/Documentation and Miscellaneous Support Services. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Raytheon Electronic Systems, Goleta, California in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The BOA will be for a three year period. The Government does not own the data rights or test procedures for the system that would allow for competition. All repairs and spares must integrate back into the original system. Inspection and Acceptance, delivery terms and destination shall be negotiated on each individual order. Request for proposal N00164-01-R-0057 is to be issued on or about 16 April 2001 with the terms and conditions of the BOA. Offers are due no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on or about 16 May 2001. The solicitation will be posted to the web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. Hard copies will not be mailed.
