Description

The U. S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, AL, intends to award a task order against the Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) number DACA87-97-D-0071, CMS Viron Energy Services, for an ESPC project at Kwajalein Atoll. Energy Savings Performance Contracting is a contracting procedure in which a private contractor evaluates, designs, finances, acquires, installs and maintains energy savings equipment or makes other energy efficiency improvements, and receives compensation based on verified energy savings. Energy Savings Performance Contracts are restricted to contractors prequalified by the Department of Energy to provide energy savings services. SEE Note 22.
