Description

The purpose of this amendment is to revise Solicitation Section C, Paragraph C.3.3.1. The paragraph is deleted and superceded by the following: C.3.3.1 The first interim briefing shall describe as a minimum the concept generation methodology, list all munition concepts considered, and describe degree of analysis used to characterize each munition concept. The second interim briefing shall describe as a minimum how individual munition concepts were combined into at least three suite concepts and describe how performance of these suite concepts were measured. The third and final briefing shall summarize results of the trade study and proposed recommendations that are detailed in the final report. The final report shall show the methodology used to propose a suite concept that represents best value. Note, in the first sentence, the phrase describe degree of analysis used to characterize each munition concept is not meant to imply that performance characterization of munitions should be complete by the first interim briefing, rather characterization should be started and the offeror is expected to report on progress.
