- The Strategic Systems Programs intends to contract with The Joint Venture-Alliant Techsystems Inc./Thiokol Corporation for the disposal of TRIDENT I (C4) First and Second Stage motors. The Joint Venture is the only known source having the facilities and expertise to handle and dispose of rocket motors which contain high energy propellants. See Note 22.*****
