Description

Provide phlebotomy services at the Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic located in Laredo, Texas. The contractor will perform specimen collection and processing, insure appropriate requests are logged, collect the appropriate samples for the specified analysis, maintain sample integrity by properly preserving specimens and forwarding specimens for transportation to the Audie Division of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System for analysis. The purpose of the contractor is to provide an on-site medical technician or phlebotomist to collect and process blood specimens. Also responsible for a wide range of clerical duties associated with specimen collection at the outpatient clinic. Solicitation package will be issued on or ababout March 22, 2001. Contract will be awarded for a base year and two (1) one year renewal options.
