Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the Makah Tribe for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Purpose of proposed contract is to provide estimates for encounter rates of sub-legal chinook salmon and non-target salmon in Washington Treaty and non-Treaty troll fisheries using observer and log book programs. The proposed contract is one of a series of contracts recommended for awarded based on proposals submitted to the Pacific Salmon Commission's Chinook Technical Committee.
