Description

The work consists of removing deteriorated asphalt-cement concrete roadway pavement, regarding the vertical alignment, rebuilding the roadway to a new wider roadway with new base course, new Portland-cement concrete surface, and new culverts. The project also includes digouts for poor subgrade, utility adjustments, filter fabric, geogrid, seeding and striping. A single award will be made on a past performance, where past performance is considered more important than cost. This action is open to both large and small business. This is an internet only solicitation. Documents will not be available via other means. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for 18 Apr 01 at 10:00 A.M. local time. Location for the pre-proposal conference is the 28th Contracting Squadron at 1000 Ellsworth Street, Ellsworth AFB, SD. Magnitude of Construction Project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
