Description

The Army intends award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Construction and Services for the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll (USAKA)/Kwajalein Missile Range (KMR) area of responsibility. A Justification & Approval citing U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, has been approved. The work under the proposed IDIQ contract will consists of minor construction, maintenance, repair, alteration, modernization, rehabilitation and services for buildings, structures, or other real property. San Juan Construction, Inc., the proposed sole source contractor, currently has the construction contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to renovate the Reef BQ, Building 564 on Kwajalein island. The IDIQ will be for one base year and one option year, and is not to exceed $2,000,000.00 for each year for a total of $4,000,000.00. The Government request that any interested contractors respond by April 20, 2001. See Note 22.
