Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please reference NMA100-01-Q-0012 with your quote. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. This solicitation is not set-aside. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to purchase the following: Software Maintenace to Bethesda Description Quantity Vendor MAILSweeper Standard Annual support 1 yr. Content Technologies, Inc MAILSweeper 7X24 Emergency support 1 yr. Content Technologies, Inc. Total Delivery is FOB destination to Bethesda, Maryland within 30 days of order. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. This acquisition is on a low cost technically acceptable basis. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Commerce Business Daily numbered Note 22, applies to this sole-source acquisition, which is being limited to Content Technologies, Inc. This procurement is being restricted to one source. The manufacturer, Content Technologies, holds proprietary rights to the software and its maintenance. Interested parties shall submit offers with the following information: Offeror's 9 digit Contractor Establishment Code (CEC); Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN); Remit to address if different, and business size. Offers are to be delivered to the address listed above, Attn: Christina Stans, no later than close of business 3/23/01 Eastern Standard Time.
