Description

J -- Preventive and remedial maintenance of Government-owned test equipment, namely, eight (8) Hewlett-Packard (HP) HP3070 Systems located at Tobyhanna Army, Tobyhanna, PA. Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Agilent Technologies, Inc., 9780 South Meridian Boulevard, Englewood, CO 80112 for the preventive and remedial maintenance of eight (8) HP3070 (ATE) Systems. Base period for the service is one year (1 yr); and there are four (4) twelve-month (12 mo) option periods. Preventive maintenance includes cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, inspecting, and testing those items which require such preventive maintenance. At six month (6 mo) intervals, calibration of the systems, inclusive of supporting documentation, will be provided as part of the maintenance support. Maintenance support service includes the entire system: the controllers; the peripherals such as the oscilloscopes; and the test fixtures/test heads. Remedial maintenance will be provided on a "next day" basis, with downtime limited to forty-eight hours (48 hrs) after the call for service is placed. Engineering improvements of the system will be installed as they become available; Software and Manual updates shall be provided as they become available. It is believed that Agilent Technologies is the only source capable of providing the above service. There is no competitive technical data package available for any of the items to be maintained.
