- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed-price (FFP) order with Strategoc Cpatomgs Omtermatopma; (SCI) This non-competitive action is being issued by Gov.Works under the authority of the Department of the Interior Franchise Fund on the behalf of Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion & Repair, USN. This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, and solicited in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government has a requirement for support services regarding corrosion issues and programs including but limited to engineering for recuced maintenance corrosion issues such as high solids paint applications, tanks and void preservation and composite materials. These services may also include support regarding capitol investment for labor issues directly related to corrosion control such as preservation teams, hand tools for ship's force preservation, high durability coatings and coverings, bilge coating systems, non-skid, and overboard discharge lining. The period of performance for this effort is for 12 months from date of award. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities or submit a proposal. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within 10 days after issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
