Description

The Office of Justice Programs intends to modify on a sole source basis Contract OJP-99-C-002, entitled NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFERENCE SERVICE (NCJRS)CONTRACT, with Aspen Systems Corporation, 2277 Research Boulevard, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The modification incorporates increased contract requirements for information collection, response center search and referral services, user surveys, publication support, document distribution, conference support services, electronic development and support, marketing and promotional services, and international program support. The increased services apply to the National Institute of Justice, Task 1; Bureau of Justice Assistance, Task 2; Bureau of Justice Statistics, Task 3; Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Task 4; Office of Justice Programs, Task 5; Office of National Drug Control Policy, Task 6; Office for Victims of Crime, Task 7; Federal Emergency Management Agency, Task 8; and National Institute of Corrections, Task 9. These additional requirements may affect some of the consolidated requirements that are shared by the aforementioned bureaus/offices. The additional requirements pertain to Option Year 2 of the contract which ends on November 30, 2001. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other firm desiring consideration must submit documentation that demonstrates its technical capability to perform the requirements. See Note 22.
