Description

The Operational Contracting Division, Los Angeles AFB, CA intends to negotiate and award, on a sole source basis, the extension of contract F04693-95-H-0001 (currently expiring 31 Mar 01). The extention is intended to be awarded to Schedule Airline Traffic Offices, Arlington, VA, for a period of two months or until 31 May 01. The extention is required to continue support of commercial services at Los Angeles AFB until award and performance start of the new Commercial Travel Offices Solicitation F04693-01-R-0009. Statutory authority for this sole source extension is Title 10 U.S.C. 2034(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. The Government will take any responses received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis into consideration.
