Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation No. 01SI101462 is currently available. This requirement is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. We will issue the solicitation on or about April 9, 2001. The estimated price range of the work is between $250,000 and $500,000 copies of solicitation will be provided in CD-ROM format at no charge for the first copy and $15.00 each (nonrefundable) for each additional copy requested. The principal components of the work include design, construction, maintenance, and removal of temporary stream diversion and care of the stream during construction; sawcutting, demolition, and removal of a portion of the existing reinforced concrete fish ladder structure; repairing existing concrete; earthwork for and construction of a new reinforced concrete structure adjacent to the existing diversion dam; furnishing and laying 36-inch diameter PVC or HDPE pressure pipe; furnishing and installing embedded metalwork, trashracks, a barrier, handrails, equipment access grating, and other metalwork; furnishing and installing one 36-inch by 36-inch slide gate and one 72-inch by 72-inch slide gate, and seeding areas disturbed by construction.Send all requests for solicitation information in writing, by FAX to (208) 378-5108 or via E-mail to dlarrondo@pn.usbr.gov.
