Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for an IDIQ multiple award task order design/build and construction contract for a wide variety of repairs, renovations, construction and alterations to facilities, and utilty repairs belonging to the Department of Defense, Real Estate and Facilities Contracting Office, Washington DC Metropolitan Area. The services provided under this contract include, but are not limited to, repair projects on buildings, building systems and utilities. Prospective projects may be in any of the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) controlled buildings in the Washington, DC metropolitan Area. The Government may elect to award a single or multiple awards from this solicitation. If the Government issues multiple contracts, each awardee shall be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for task orders to be issued. The contract will be for a period of one year from award with four one-year option provisions. Each task order issued will require a technical proposal and cost proposal. The award shall be based on a best value, source selection process outlined in the solicitation. This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the proposal (or proposals if multiple award is made) considered most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about April 4, 2001. The closing date for the solicitation is anticipated to be on or about May 14, 2001.
