Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, intends to purchase Compair Leoroi Rotary Screw Compressor from Turner Supply Storeroom Division, 2751 N. Grafhill Drive, Mobile, AL 36606, under the authority of Only One Responsible Source, Citation 10 U.S.C. 2304(c), because they are the only known supplier that can provide a Compair Leoroi Rotary Screw Compressor per Spec sheet SS-9-SP, Model Numnber WE200SSIIH-W, 900 CFM at 125 PSI, 200 HP, 460 volt motor Microprocessor control per spec sheet AM-1 5/98, Across the line starter (mounted), water cooled oil cooler/aftercooler with separator and auto float drain, quiet housing (80DBA), SSL50 oil (4000 HRS). Interested firms have fifteen days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, with their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the fifteen days or without the required information will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
