Description
This solicitation is issued as an anticipated purchase of a Brand Name or Equal acquisition. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-19. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 549-01-RFQ-79. The VA North Texas Health Care System, Dallas facility, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216, here-in-after referred to as VANTHCS, requires the procurement of a Brand Name or Equal (Vital Images) 3D software/hardware package, which will include a single multi-vendor compatible 3D imaging workstation which will accept images from different modalities with different vendors. 3D Imaging Workstation Software Specifications: 1. 2D/3D software for visualization and analysis of structures imaged using cross-sectional imaging, including CT, MRI and ultrasound image data. 2. Ability to replace multiple propriety workstations with a single multi-vendor compatible workstation 3. Fully DICOM 3.0 compliant for all radiology image data sources (DICOM Compliance statement required) 4. A full set of clinical protocols to automatically preset visualization parameters for clinical MR, CT, MRA and CTA data sets. 5. Adaptive clinical protocols preset visualization parameters minimizing the need for additional image manipulation. 6. Interactive, real-time 3D volume rendering with ability to record movie clips for presentation of 3D data information at conferences. 7. Clinical workflow for simple step-by-step case review. 8. Virtual Endoscopy or fly through. 9. Real-time 2D/3D cross hair localization. 10. Ultra fast curved and double oblique 2D rendering. 11. Coronary artery calcium scoring to allow for fast CT scanner data to quickly visualize the calcium in coronary arteries, including the generation of a radiology report. 12. EKG gating to allow physician to select the images that were acquired with the least motion distortion. 13. Ability to store image and movie clip data in standard formats compatible with commercial presentation software, including Microsoft Powerpoint. 14. Report page authoring with built-in web browser which allows an unlimited number of users to access the report page. 15. The first year of system maintenance included. 16. On-line support services at no additional cost. 17. Intuitive set of controls and interactions allowing clinical users with little or no computer background to confidently use the system after a 10 minute training period. 18. 2 each of two-day applications training sessions for more advanced applications and for in-house technical and clinical staff. 19. User manuals 20. Annual software upgrades included for first 5 years. 21. Includes all installation and shipping charges. 3D Imaging Workstation Hardware Specifications 1. Dual Pentium III 933 MHz Processor with 133 MHz FSB ATX form factor 2. Integrated 10/100 NIC and Sound Card. 3. ATX midtower Case with 300 watt power supply (wol capable) 4. 2 GB ECC 133 MHz SDRAM (motherboard must be capable of handling 4GB) 5. 3 Dlabs Oxygen GVX1S 32 MB SDRAM AGP 2x / 4x video card. (Need this graphic card for 3D Imaging Software to work) 6. Adaptec 131U2 SCSI 32 bit PCI RAID Controller (Adaptec131U2 Model is required 7. Three 36.7 GB 10K II Hard Drives 8. IDE CD-R 8x4x32. 9. Flat Panel Monitor. 10. USRB 56K external V.90 data/fax X2 modem 11. 104-Key Keyboard 12. Three Button Mouse. 13. 1.44 Mb Floppy Drive 14. Microsoft Windows NT with Service Pack 6a (Operating System Software) Industrial classification (NAICS) code is 334611 (size 500 employees).
