Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to solicit for purchase of 30 each Cover, Equipment, Vaisala,Inc. P/N 70-2674. NSN: 6625-01-352-6579, ASN: S100-2MT1SP1. The drawing for these items is considered source controlled. The only approved source of supply known for these items is Vaisala, Inc., Plain City, OH. These items are being purchased for the National Weather Service, to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, MO. These items support the Automated Surface & Operation System (ASOS) program. As this part is in support of current the ASOS program, alternative or like items would not be acceptable without extensive testing. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. Any small business sources, able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after its publication.
