Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Unisys Corporation, 8008 Westpark Drive, Mclean, VA 22102 for the renewal of the following software licenses: DATA 1100, MATH/STAT PACK, CTS-MX, COM SW:ENS PLATFORM, UTIL SW: BUILD SB4-MX, DCP200 OSG, COBOL ASCII-MX, FORTRAN ASCII-MX, OSG VA HERITAGE SE51X, SMART CONSOLE, DEPCON PRINT-UPGRADE, cpFTP, CKRS-MX, DFP- MX, PERF SW: 18/36TRK DRIVER LIC, QLP PCIOS-MX AND RPG II-MX. Period of performance will be through September 30, 2001. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is that these are proprietary software licenses available only from Unisys. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations; no solicitation will be issued.
