Description

The Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a sole source contract to Finnigan Corporation., pursuant to 41 USC 253(c)(1): Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement to disassemble, pack, unpack, reassemble, and start-up operations of a Finnigan MAT 90 High Resolution Mass Spectrometer. Only Finnigan Corporation has the unique knowledge required to perform the required services. Interested parties who believe they are qualified to perform this effort must submit a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of this notice to Sandra Clark at the above address for consideration by the Agency. Responses must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. EPA anticipates the award of a fixed price purchase order. NAICS No. 488991 applies, with a size standard of $18.5M in average annual receipts over the last three years. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice, the Government will proceed with the procurement of these services with Finnigan Corporation.
