Description

Notice of availability of a prospectus for the award of a concession contract authorizing the sale of petroleum products, food, drinks and other convenience store items for the visiting public traveling on the Darcy District of the Natchez Trace Parkway, approximately 15 miles northwest of Ackerman, Mississippi, for a period of seven years. The approximate visitation on the Natchez Trace Parkway, milepost 204 in 1999 was 577,000. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR, Part 51 has determined that this is a qualified concession contract, based on the fact that the business is estimated to result in annual gross receipts of less than $500,000 in the first 12 months of its term. A preferred offeror for this contract exists, however, all interested parties may apply and all responsive proposals will be considered. Offerors must be received by close of business May 22, 2001. There will an administrative charge to recoup printing costs for this prospectus of $30 plus a $5 mailing fee for each prospectus. All requests for prospectuses should be made in writing to Henry C.
