INDICATOR DATA PROCESSOR SOL F34601-01-R-0067 DUE 051801 Gail Patison/Lidab/[405]739-4349, For additional information contact Gail Patison/Lidab/[405]739-4349 The contractor shall furnish all necessary resources required to provide logistics support for the Programmable Indicator Data Processor(PIDP), OL-475/TPX-42A(V), system and peripheral equipment. Logistics support encompasses depot level repair, emergency on-site technical assistance, contingency assets (spares) procurement and management, configuration management and control, and logistics information. Government Furnished Material will be provided. NOTE: Proposals in response to this solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection Procedures. 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. CONTRACT TYPE: FIRM FIXED PRICE AND TIME AND MATERIALS. CONTRACT PERIOD: ONE YEAR PLUS TWO ONE-YEAR OPTIONS. NOTE: WORK WHICH IS THE SUBJECT OF THIS SOLICITATION MAY BE RETAINED AND PERFO RMED ORGANICALLY BY THE AGENCY BASED ON COST COMPARISON ANALYSIS. The approximate issue/response date will be 16 APR 2001. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Security clearance will be required of all bidders offerors. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
