Description

Simplex NT3400 Access Control (Security) Equipment/Installation (including relocation of some existing equipment). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) N00102-01-R-0910. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23, Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. All hardware items must be Simplex Time Recorder Company (brand name mandatory) for compatibility with existing system. All equipment must be programmed and tested by Simplex Time Recorder Co. certified technicians/personnel. A breakdown of the required parts by location is available upon request. All wiring, installation, programming, and testing shall be completed by 30 April 2001. All hardware items shall be delivered FOB Destination (Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine). The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer. The following clauses/provisions apply to this acquisition 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (including 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52.225-18, 52.225-19, and 52.225-21), and 252.212-7001. The assigned Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is 06.
