Description

This is a standing solicitation (proposals may be submitted at any time) for Multiple Award Schedule 71, Part III, Section E, Miscellaneous Furniture, including Security Cabinets, Safes, Vault Doors, Map and Plan Files and Accessories, COMSEC Containers and Special Access Control Containers and Introduction of New Products. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 23, 2001. Contracts awarded from the solicitation will be effective for a 5-year period, and will include an option to extend for three additional 5-year periods. The solicitation may be downloaded at http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation implements the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Small Business Administration and the General Services Administration which encourages certified 8(a) firms to submit offers for consideration under the MAS program. Current contractors who are 8(a) certified may request modification of their contract to reflect their status and be listed accordingly in the Schedules E-Library and GSA Advantage! pursuant to the MOU.
