Description

Contractor shall perform real property maintainence and repair and minor construction projects through an indefinite-quantity Job Order Contract (JOC)during a 12-month period with four one-year option periods. The base contract period shall begin 15 calendar days after date of contract award. Work shall be performed at Fort Knox, Kentucky and at supported reserve centers in Indiana. The Government intends to award a minimum of one contract and a maximum of three contracts from this Request for Proposal through formal source selection procedures. Award will be made to the offer(s) representing the best value for the Government. Evaluation factors to be considered are past performance, management, comprehension of requirements, and coefficient/price. R.S. Means Cost Works 2001 Interactive CD-ROM software will be the unit price book (UPB). The offeror/contractor is responsible for obtaining the UPB; the Government will not furnish the UPB. This solicitation is unrestricted. Both large and small businesses may compete for award. The solicitation package will be available on or about April 10, 2001. A definite response date has not yet been established. There will be a limited number of solicitation packages available and will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis.
