Description

Invitation to Bid Notice for Hot Water System Improvements, Federal Building/US Courthouse, 316 -- 20 Sixth Street, Sioux City, IA. Job RIA21460. IFB o/a 04/02/01. Estimated cost range: $250,000 to $500,000. Time for completion: 210 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Project involves: Provide hot water valves, replace hot water pumps, provide variable speed drives, provide direct digital controls equipment, provide chilled water equipment, replace lighting, provide meter, replace air handling unit system, and replace fan coil unit. Unit price for an estimated 60, Hot water perimeter control valves. COMPETENCY OF BIDDER for Asbestos Abatement and PCB's, shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer for approval prior to award of the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. Offers from Hub Zone Small Business concerns will receive a price evaluation preference per FAR 19.1307. FAR Clause 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for Hub Zone Small Business concerns shall apply.
